Testing and evaluation has always been a vital part of the academic activity in institutions. Keeping this aspect in view, the college administration has devised a comprehensive plan to evaluate the students' ecademic standing in the following manner:
1. Fortnightly Tests:
Fortnightly tests will cover the taught syllabus. Student's performance reports will be delivered home either by post or through phone every month.
2. Send-up Examination:
Students will have to appear in the sendup examinations in December to qualify for the board exams. Only one re-sendup exam will be allowed and those failing to pass in second attempt will not be considered for Board Exams.
3. Revision & Test (R&T) Series:
A comprehensive R&T series covering the whole syllabus will be taken at the end of each academic session. Crash Course (R&Ts) are designed according to the pattern of Board exams.
4. Pre-Board Exams:
pre-board Exams are based on the pattern of Board Exams, and could be considered as the semi-finals before the grand finale. The objective is to have a final evaluation of students so that they could have a clear picture of the board exams. Top three students in the Pre-Board Exams will be awarded Merit Certificates.
Board Rules:
Federal Board conducts its exams for SSC-I & II, F.Sc I & II seperately. A student who fails to qualify four subjects in the board stands dropped from the college rolls. Students failing in two or more subjects are not eligible for re-admission in the same faculty.
Minimum Qualifying Standards:
The minimum qualifying standard in the local tests/exams for the college students is 70% in each subject. This is to prepare them for the board exams in a thorough manner.
