Leave Regulation

Following are the policies that need to be observed while applying for a long or short leave:

  1. Leaving for reasons other than illness must be applied beforehand by the student to avail the leave. 
  2. Urgent piece of work is to be specified and clearly stated in the leave.
  3. Usually, not more than two days leave is permitted to the student who has to attend some private or personal affair needing his/her immediate attendance.
  4. Applications for two or more than two days should be countersigned by a parent or the legal guardian.
  5. A medical certificate (MC) should be attached to the application in the following cases:
    1. Illness lasting five days or more.
    2. Illness immediately before and after the spring, summer and winter vacation.
    3. Illness on the days when the class tests and terminal examinations are held.
    4. The student remaining absent for five or more than five days a month, would end up with his/her name struck off the college Rolls.

Note: Failing to fulfil any of these guidelines could cause serious trouble for the student.
